Heidi Isenberg-Feig, MD, FAAP, FAAAAI founded Potomac Family Allergy and Asthma in 2005. She is board certified in both pediatrics and allergy and immunology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She has practiced in Montgomery County since 2002 and is committed to providing excellent care and education to families with allergies and asthma.

Dr. Isenberg-Feig was named one of Washington's "Top Doctors" in the 2008 and 2010 Washingtonian Magazine surveys.

Special Interests: Infant, youth and adolescent issues, including eczema and food allergies. Asthma and allergies in athletes.

Community Outreach: Dr. Isenberg-Feig regularly speaks, writes and provides educational outreach for children, parents and adults for whom allergies and asthma are a fact of life. She has given talks to community groups, schools, adult and senior living centers and to new parents organizations throughout the Montgomery County and Frederick County areas. Dr. Isenberg-Feig chaired the Sponsorship Committee for the October, 2006 Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Network walk. She is currently the Community Outreach chair of the Montgomery County Medical Society. In addition, Dr. Isenberg-Feig acts as medical advisor for "Safe@School Partners," a not-for-profit advocacy group that provides teaching and training to schools with food allergic students.

Training: After receiving her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York in 1997, she moved down to Maryland for her residency at the University of Maryland Medical System and fellowship at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. She lives in Montgomery County with her husband and two young children.
